제 11회 하계 올림픽 개회

1936년 8월 1일, 히틀러는 독일 베를린에서 제 11회 하계 올림픽 개회를 선언하였다. 새로운 올림픽 의식 절차로 고대 올림픽이 열리던 그리스의 올림피아에서 채화된 성화를 단독 주자가 봉송하였다. 이 사진은 올림픽 성화를 봉송하는 마지막 주자가 올림픽 성화에 불을 붙이기 위하여 베를린에 도착하며 제 11회 하계 올림픽 개회를 알리는 장면이다. 독일, 베를린, 1936년 8월 1일.
