Alfred Rosenberg

Alfred Rosenberg (1893–1946) was a prominent Nazi ideologue who was partially responsible for the wartime annihilation of Soviet Jews and civilians. He held several titles, including head of the Nazi Party's foreign affairs department (1933) and Reich Minister for the Occupied Eastern Territories (1941). After the war, he was found guilty and hanged for his crimes: conspiracy to commit crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity; crimes against peace; war crimes; and crimes against humanity.
