<p>A photo of the refugee ship the SS St. Louis from the collection of passenger Moritz Schoenberger.  After the ship was forced back to Europe, he sought asylum in France where he was inturned in Gurs, St. Cyprien, and Les Milles.  He finally arrived in the United States in 1943, and died in New York in 1956. May, 1939.</p>
