    나치는 집권 후 10년 안에 질서경찰(Ordnungspolizei; Orpo)을 살인적 군사조직으로 급진화한다. 질서경찰은 홀로코스트 당시 많은 만행을 자행한다. 게토 경비, 강제 이송, 숨은 유대인 추적, 유대인과 비유대인 학살에 참여한다. 질서경찰은 유럽계 유대인 대량 학살 진도와 잔혹함에 큰 영향을 끼쳤다.
