albums

Photo albums and scrapbooks can tell us a lot about what their creators found important or memorable. During the Holocaust, these albums had a variety of purposes. Some albums documented the lives of Nazis or Nazi authorities who lived or worked at concentration camps. Others were created by families of Jews and other victims as a way of remembering their loved ones. Learn more about the albums created, cherished, or rescued during the Holocaust.
