Film

Films or movies are a form of visual art, often created by many different people for many different purposes. During the Holocaust (1933-1945), the Nazis used film as a form of propaganda to further their antisemitic and racist views. After the Holocaust, Nazi film footage was used against Nazi perpetrators in postwar war crimes trials. However, film was also used by Survivors, victims, and bystanders also used film footage to document life during the Holocaust era.
