German soldiers with a Wehrmacht propaganda unit filming the pogrom in occupied Lwów, June 30-July 3, 1941

Much of the visual evidence of the July 1, 1941 pogrom in German-occupied Lwów was taken by the Germans. German forces took photographs and film footage of the pogrom, which they planned to use for propaganda purposes. Some of this footage was later submitted as evidence by prosecutors at the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg.
