Series: Young Diarists from the Lodz Ghetto

Diaries bear witness to some of the most heart-breaking experiences of the Holocaust. They document the fear, loss, trauma, and sometimes even the hope felt by people facing extreme peril. The Jewish children of Lodz suffered unfolding harsh realities after the German invasion of Poland. Some of the children recorded their experiences in diaries.
