수정의 밤(Kristallnacht) 때 훼손된 히브리어 기도서의 파본들

이 사진에 실린 파본들은 1938년 11월 9일과 10일에 일어난 대 박해(포그롬, Pogrom)인 수정의 밤(Kristallnacht, “깨진 유리의 밤”이라는 뜻) 때 훼손된 히브리어 기도서이다. 이 파본들은 독일 보벤하우센에 있던 시나고그가 불타면서 훼손된 것이다. 1989년 가이센 지역의 유태인 공동체가 미국 홀로코스트 기념 박물관에 기증하였다.
