로츠 게토에서 나온 싱거 재봉틀

이 싱거 재봉틀은 폴란드 로츠 게토에서 제화공들이 사용하던 것이었다. 일찌기 1940년 5월부터 독일은 게토에 공장을 설립해서 유태인들을 강제 노동에 이용하기 시작했다. 1942년 8월까지 게토내에 약 100개의 공장들이 세워졌었다. 대부분의 공장들은 독일 군대를 위한 섬유 제품, 특히 유니폼을 생산했다.
