Albert Speer (1905–1981) was a member of the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler’s personal architect. He became Minister of Armaments and Munitions in 1942 and used millions of forced laborers to support the German economy. After the war, he was found guilty at the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg of war crimes and crimes against humanity and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
