Le film « The Nazi plan » fut montré comme preuve au Tribunal militaire international à Nuremberg le 11 décembre 1945. C'est Budd Schulberg et d'autres militaires américains, sous la direction du commandant de la Marine James Donovan, qui fit le montage, à partir de documents allemands uniquement, dont des actualités officielles. Cette séquence s’intitule « The Burning of the Books, 10 may 1933. »
