Carte réservée aux visiteurs de la galerie du Tribunal militaire international de Nuremberg. Ces cartes étaient souvent partagées entre plusieurs personnes, qui se relayaient pour assister à ces procès historiques.
Après avoir adopté une nouvelle identité à la fin 1943, Simone Weil falsifia sa carte d'étudiante de l'année 1938-1939 pour qu'elle porte son nouveau nom, Simone Werlin. Cette carte confirmait son inscription à l'Ecole du travail social de Strasbourg. A l'aide de documents faux et falsifiés, Weil a pu déménager à Châteauroux, en France, et monter une opération de secours aux enfants juifs en tant que membre de l'organisation d'aide et de secours, l'Oeuvre de Secours aux Enfants ( OSE).
Des membres de la famille et des amis de Ruth Segal (Rys Berkowicz) lui envoyèrent cette carte postale à Kobe, au Japon. Ils envoyèrent cette carte postale de Varsovie, en Pologne occupée par les Allemands, le 20 juin 1941. [Exposition spéciale USHMM : Vol et Sauvetage.]

Cette carte accompagnait un rapport allemand secret et non daté sur l'extermination massive des Juifs par l'Einsatzgruppen A (unité mobile d'extermination A). Pendant les procès devant le Tribunal militaire international, la carte fut produite comme preuve par les procureurs américains et britanniques.
