Lager für Roma in Lodz

Blick auf das Roma-Lager in Lodz. Die ursprüngliche deutsche Bildunterschrift für dieses Foto lautete: „Zigeunerlager“, Nr. 137. Im Herbst 1941 deportierte die deutsche Polizei rund 5.000 Roma aus Österreich in das Ghetto für Juden in Lodz, wo sie in einem getrennten Abschnitt wohnten (ein Teil davon ist auf diesem Bild zu sehen). Das Foto entstand zwischen 1940 und 1944.
