Annonce de l'exécution de Gregor Wohlfahrt

Les autorités de Berlin, en Allemagne, envoyèrent cet avis à Barbara Wohlfahrt, l'informant de l'exécution de son mari Gregor dans la matinée du 7 décembre 1939. Bien qu'il fût physiquement inapte au service dans les forces armées, les Nazis jugèrent Wohlfahrt pour son opposition religieuse au service militaire. En tant que Témoin de Jéhovah, Wohlfahrt estimait que le service militaire violait le commandement biblique qui interdit de tuer. Le 8 novembre 1939, une cour martiale condamna Wohlfahrt à être décapité, sentence qui fut exécutée un mois plus tard dans la prison de Plötzensee, à Berlin.
