Jakob Edelstein, président du Conseil juif des anciens (Ältestenrat) dans le ghetto de Theresienstadt (Terezin) de décembre 1941 à janvier 1943. Edelstein est déporté d’Auschwitz en décembre 1943. Il y est assassiné le 20 juin 1944.
